At Desert Breeze Community Church, our mission is to create a safe, welcoming place where those new to church or hurt by past experiences can encounter God in real ways becoming fully devoted followers of Christ Jesus. We value authenticity over religion, offering casual community, practical teaching, heartfelt worship, and a no-pressure approach to faith.
Genuine Christian
It all begins with a relationship.
We all have a deep need for a relationship with our Creator—a relationship that can only be made possible through Jesus Christ. By recognizing our sin, confessing it, and surrendering to Jesus as Lord, we are transformed. This is the beginning of a new life as a Genuine Christian, born into the family of God.
"Yet to all who received Him, to those who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God."
—John 1:12
Growing Christian
We grow in our knowledge and love of God through inspiring weekend services, meaningful fellowship, small group teachings, personal Bible study, and prayer. As Scripture reminds us:
“Continue to grow in grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.” — 2 Peter 3:18
Giving Christian
As we grow, we give of our time, talents, and treasures all for the sake of the local Church and the world therefore demonstrating gratitude for all God has done.
“God has given each of you some special abilities; be sure to use them to help each other.” — 1 Peter 4:10
“There are different kinds of service to God… together you form the body of Christ, and each one of you is a necessary part of it.” — 1 Corinthians 12:5, 27
Going Christian
We look beyond the church walls to share the good news of Jesus with others, living out God's call to make fully devoted disciples of Jesus Christ.
“Go, then, to all people everywhere and make them my disciples…” — Matthew 28:19
“…And you will be my witnesses…” — Acts 1:8
Glorifying Christian
Our ultimate goal is to live a Genuine, Growing, Giving, and Going life—all for the Glory of God. We were created by Him, for Him, and find our greatest joy and satisfaction in His presence.
“So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.” — 1 Corinthians 10:31
“You make known to me the path of life… in your presence there is fullness of joy.” — Psalm 16:11
