Hebrews 13:5-6 Insecurity: is a feeling of general unease or nervousness that comes from perceiving of oneself to be vulnerable or inferior in some way that can lead to doubts and fears that control us.
Psalm 91 What are your greatest fears? In a fallen world it’s easy to be overwhelmed by fear, worry and anxiety. Mass shootings are becoming more frequent, drug overdoses are epidemic, add to that the bereavement of family and friends dying, the battling of serious illness, relational betrayal and financial reversal and you’ve got the making of a nervous breakdown.
Luke 8:22-39 In our fallen and broken world internal and external storms are inevitable. To the degree you are able to overcome your internal storms (questions/doubts/fears) is to the degree you will be able to overcome your external storms (people/things/circumstances).
