Exodus 2:1-25 If I’m going to experience blessing in bitter times, I must believe God Knows, Cares and Rules the circumstances of my life for my good and His glory. (Ps9:9-10) My concept of God not only determines the quality of my relationship with Him and what I convey to others about Him but also my ability to get through adversity.
Exodus 1:1-22 Exodus means “the way out”. Genesis is the book of beginnings and Exodus is the book of redemption. To redeem means “to set free”. Exodus describes Israel’s bondage in Egypt and the wonderful deliverance that God gave them. It presents many pictures of our salvation through Christ.
Exodus 34:6-7 Intimacy with God is life’s most satisfying reality. Nothing can rob you of intimacy with God, except idolatry. Anything that captures your heart and imagination more than God is an idol. Idolatry is always the reason we ever do anything wrong. Idolatry isn’t one sin among many but the root of all of our sins.
